Black Forest beach
Welcome! Our Black Forest beach in Bad Herrenalb is made up of our vacation domiciles Strandhaus, with three individual apartments and the “SchwarzwaldDeck” consisting of three houses, the so-called deck houses. The Strandhaus is already established as a place to relax. From May 2024, it will be complemented by the innovative deckhouses, which can already be booked now. Each unit in both properties is specially designed for individuality and privacy. The choice is yours: spend your stay in one of the individual apartments in the beach house or in one of the deckhouses. For groups, we offer the option of booking the entire Strandhaus or the entire SchwarzwaldDeck (all three houses). The Strandhaus can accommodate up to 18 people and the SchwarzwaldDeck up to 21 people.
A special feature is the possibility of combining the two properties, which are only 4 km apart and can be reached on foot or by bike via a picturesque forest path – ideal for larger events or family gatherings.
Both properties offer their own perspectives: the beach house in the valley on the beach of the Alb and the deckhouse on the mountain in the Upper Gaistal, close to the ski lift with sweeping views over the Black Forest. Both properties combine modern comfort with the natural beauty of the Black Forest.
Vacation with the 4 elements
Fire
In each apartment, the fire crackles in a wood-burning stove and provides warmth (in addition to the pleasant underfloor heating) and a feeling of security. Cooking is done in the comfortable kitchen. The beach house is all Italian – with a gas flame and if you still haven’t had enough of a crackling fire, you can end the evening romantically in front of the garden fireplace on the Albstrand.
Water
Our vacation apartments are located directly on the rushing Alb. The river water is of drinking water quality and the salmon that have already discovered the Alb know this too. Bad Herrenalb has a thermal bath with a thermal spring in the spa gardens and the outdoor pool surrounded by greenery is just 100 meters from the Black Forest beach.
We have also analyzed our tap water and you can taste the quality.
Earth
The Albstrand invites you to enjoy nature in peace and quiet. The beautiful, 100-year-old clay pavers and the light-colored sandstone walls absorb the warmth of the sun’s rays. Solid wood is the protagonist of the entire Schwarzwaldstrand house ensemble and lends the rooms a warm, extremely pleasant atmosphere. Bad Herrenalb lies at the end of the Alb Valley and is surrounded by forests, clearings and flower meadows. The only imposition: the knocking of the woodpecker!
Air
Bad Herrenalb is a climatic health resort, where you can take a deep breath and let your lungs be puffed out with very good air. If you want to get really close to the sky, you can take to the skies from the Althof and Teufelsmühle hang-gliding hills at an altitude of up to 900m.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die familienfreundliche Atmosphäre.
Der tolle Gartenbereich mit eigenem Strand lädt selbst im Dezember (warm eingepackt) zum ausgiebigen spielen ein. Aber auch die schönen Spielzeuge und Bücher in der Wohnung fanden bei unserem Sohn großen Anklang.
Die Wohnung ist sehr hochwertig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und auch der technische Stand ist gut. Gefehlt hat uns wirklich nichts.
Ausliegende Flyer und Ausflugstipps der Hauseigentümer Familie waren aktuell.
Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümer Familie funktionierte einwandfrei.
