Architecture with character
Sebastian Graubner began his building career as a young boat builder on the coast. The connection to wood and water still characterizes his style today. Even though boat building is rarely used in the Black Forest, his love of natural materials remains. Together with Lucie Graubner, he has already gained valuable experience in solid wood construction in the Bahnwärterhaus and the Familienhotel Weimar.
They wanted to make this special feeling of space tangible at Schwarzwaldstrand. So the house was built entirely in solid wood in 2017. For the planning, they were able to call on the renowned architecture firm LRO Lederer Ragnarsdóttir Oei for the planning. The architecture fulfills their aspiration to be timeless and homely at the same time
– with a clear focus on quality and atmosphere.
