How many people can the beach house accommodate?
The beach house offers comfortable living space for up to 4 people. It is ideal for couples, small families or groups of friends who want to enjoy peace and nature.
Can the beach house be booked all year round?
Yes, the beach house is available all year round and has effective heating. So you can enjoy a relaxing stay in nature in both summer and winter.
Is there a kitchen in the beach house?
A fully equipped kitchen is available in the beach house. It contains everything you need for self-catering – from a hob and fridge to crockery and a coffee machine.
Does the beach house have WLAN and Internet reception?
Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the beach house. Mobile phone reception is also generally stable, so you can easily stay online if necessary.
Is the Strandhaus barrier-free accessible?
The beach house is built at ground level and is therefore generally easily accessible for guests with limited mobility. If you have any special requirements, please contact us in advance.
Can I bring my pet to the beach house?
Yes, dogs are welcome at the Strandhaus. There is an additional charge for your four-legged companion so that you can enjoy nature together with your pet.
Is there direct access to nature or water?
From the beach house, you can reach a small natural beach by the river via a private meadow path. The surrounding area invites you to relax, go for a walk or splash around.
What equipment does the terrace of the beach house have?
The terrace of the beach house is furnished with comfortable seating and a table. It invites you to linger and offers a wonderful view of the valley
Questions and answers about the deckhouses
Are you interested in our deckhouses? In this section you will find answers to frequently asked questions about facilities, arrival and your stay. So you can plan your vacation at Schwarzwaldstrand in a relaxed and well-informed manner.
Can I also travel by public transportation?
Yes, it is easy to get here by public transport. From Karlsruhe main station, you can reach Bad Herrenalb station in around 40 minutes by train. From there, an hourly bus or a scheduled cab service will take you comfortably to Obere Gaistal. The nearest bus stop is just a five-minute walk from our deckhouses.
Are there parking spaces at the deckhouses?
Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces available for our guests directly at the deckhouses. Arriving by car is therefore no problem, even for longer stays or with a lot of luggage.
Is there a playground nearby?
Yes, there is a well-maintained public playground about 300 meters away. It is located on the valley-side meadow path to the west and is easily accessible on foot – ideal for families with children.
Are dogs allowed in the accommodation?
Yes, dogs are very welcome here! You are welcome to bring your dog with you. Please note that we charge an additional flat rate of €30 per dog per week. We look forward to your visit with your four-legged companion!
Is there a hygienic shower in the vacation homes?
Yes, there is a modern hygienic shower (also known as a bidet shower) in every bathroom in the vacation homes at Schwarzwaldstrand. For extra comfort and hygiene during your stay.
Is there a sauna at the deckhouses
Yes, there is a cozy barrel sauna with panoramic window and outdoor shower – perfect for relaxing with a view of nature.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, the bed is freshly made for every guest. There are large and small towels available – everything is ready on arrival.
Is there a barbecue area or barbecue facilities?
Yes, there is a barbecue area with a gas barbecue and a fantastic view. Right next to it is a small scullery with extra dishes
